Dear AZNIGP Members,
I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude for those in attendance of our 35th Annual Regional Conference & Vendor Expo and making it a resounding success. Your participation, support, and hard work made it possible, and I’m so grateful for our collective efforts to bring this public procurement community together in such a meaningful way. Thank you to Bill Munch and the rest of the Regional Conference committee for diligently planning and executing such an amazing event. Each of you played a pivotal role, and the results speak for themselves! Congratulations, everyone!
As we look forward, I’m thrilled to welcome our newly elected members. Please help me welcome Michael Greene from the City of Tempe as the incoming Vice President and Jesse Atoigue with the Arizona Dept of Child Safey as the incoming Treasurer. Bill Munch was confirmed as your 2025 President and Lisa Goodman will continue to serve as Secretary. I’m excited about the fresh ideas and energy our new leadership will bring, and I am confident that their contributions will further strengthen our organization. I’m grateful to have you as next year’s Executive Board and look forward to the great work we’ll accomplish together.
Our last luncheon meeting for this year is the
Awards Training Luncheon and Transitional Board Meeting on December 10th at Courtyard by Marriott, 650 N 95th Lane
Phoenix, AZ 85037. If you served on a committee, please plan on attending so you can receive your committee certificate and gift. If you are interested in chairing or co-chairing a committee for next year, please email Bill Munch at
bmunch@vsit.org with your interest and plan on attending the all-day Transitional Board Meeting. This important day consists of planning the budget, calendar, and events for next year and your input and expertise is needed.
In the spirit of gratitude, I also want to take a moment to appreciate all our members for the continued passion and dedication you bring to the public profession every day. Together, we are building something remarkable, and I’m deeply thankful to all you do as members and volunteers of this great organization of ours.
Happy Thanksgiving Wishes to Everyone.
Warm regards,
Haydee Nora, MPA, CPPO
AZNIGP 2024 President
