Happy National Procurement Month!
Although March is the month of Spring Training Baseball in Arizona, it is also the most important month of the year for Public Procurement Professionals. This is our time to be recognized for all the great things we do for our organizations throughout the year!
Included with this message is a copy of the Arizona Procurement Month Proclamation by our own Governor Hobbs and the Chapter’s Procurement Professional's Day Proclamation.
Please display both of these documents proudly at your entity and share with your family and friends. Public procurement is a noble and often forgotten profession so don’t let this month slip by without celebrating our hard work and dedication.
Our chapter will be celebrating procurement month in at the March Career Seminar I.
Career Seminar I is scheduled for March 18th, 2025 at the Willow Conference Center and sponsored by 1GPA. The State Procurement Administrator and the CEO of Local First Arizona will be presenting important procurement information that will benefit all of us.
We have Scholarships! Applications have been received by the deadline last month and the following scholarships will be awarded at the Career Seminar:
1. $1,000 AZNIGP National Forum Scholarship
2. 1st Timer AZNIGP National Forum Scholarship (covers registration, airfare & lodging)
3. 1GPA National Forum Scholarship (covers registration, airfare & lodging)
4. Journeyman AZNIGP National Forum Scholarship (covers registration, airfare & lodging).
We look forward to our chapter celebration at the Career Seminar.
